Become a Volunteer

Volunteer for the New Americans Museum!

We welcome you and thank you for joining with us to celebrate America’s past and promise. From research, to fundraising, to education, volunteers play an essential role in the Museum’s success. We would not be here today if it were not for dedicated people like you!

Volunteer Opportunities: Docents, special events, outreach, office support for Executive Director, Development Director, Program Director and Volunteer Coordinator (includes but not limited to coordinating projects, data entry, and other tasks as assigned).

Requirements: Dedicated, willing to learn, to listen and to be understanding. Ability to follow directions and work well with others; interest in learning about other cultures and international relations. Experience in education or teaching can be helpful, although not required.
